When I started making this card today, I became very reflective on the people that have inspired me. I would love to begin to name them all but I am sure I would leave someone out. My Mom and my Grandmother are the two women that have inspired me the most. I could only hope to be the Mother, daughter, Christian, wife, friend, sibling, that they have been in their lifetime. I love you both so much! I also have a list of friends that inspire me in many different ways, each in their own special way, whether it is with your kindness, your thoughts, your faith or your determination....I love you all! I also want to thank all the wonderful creative people that I follow online on a daily basis. Your creativity is always pushing me to reach beyond the scope of what I can see and try something new. So, to ALL of you, this card is for YOU!
I have had alot of fun making this card. I have a hard time with tags so I thought the
CAS(E) this sketch challenge #22 would push me outside of my box a little. I also loved the color choices for the
Dynamic Duos Challenge this week. I decided to use both colors as accent colors for my card, and I was happy with the way they balanced each other.
I decided on a Vintage or distressed look again. I guess if I would have to pick a style for my card making, it would be this. I didn't have a sentiment that was working for me so i made up my own Using the stamp sets Loving Thoughts and the new Designer Typeset. I also used the large floral stamp from Betsy's Blossoms as a background on the tag. Of course i don't think I can make a card without adding the Color Spritzer tool and some ribbon.
Thanks so much once again for stopping by!!
