Making tags is not something I am confident in doing. I decided to make this tag the size of a card and decorate both the front and back instead of making a card. It is about 5x7. I love ALL the new banner items from SU! and I think I used every Banner product on this tag!!

Brett's friend is turning six years old so I added six candles. The flames I colored with So Saffron and highlighted with Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight. It is hard to see in the pictures but I also added some Crystal Effects to the flame to give them a bit more dimension. (My kids thought I was a genius! Too Funny!! )
I only had white tissue paper so I decided to stamp some Gorgeous Grunge and little hearts from Hears a Flutter to bring the colors together.
I had so much fun dressing this bag up with my very own tag and tissue paper. It was a very simple thing to do and definitely make the gift a bit more personal.
Thanks for stopping!!
Oh I just love this!! I'm pinning it!!
ReplyDeleteSo Inspiring creations Aimee! So loving the way you decorate your tissue paper! So Awesome :)
ReplyDeleteThis is great, Aimee! I love all of the banners on the tag. I have been sitting, staring at mine trying to figure out how to use the biggest ones. Perfect to use them for a tag. Love the stamped tissue paper too! I love doing that. It really adds to the gift! You know if I was getting this gift I would save that for sure. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! What a great way to dress up a plain gift bag! I love the crinkled ribbon bow and I bet the CE on the candles looks awesome! The coordinating tissue paper pulls it all together! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
