I decided to try a sunset for this weeks colorQ Challenge. This is normally not the type of card I make but it was fun and easy to create this peaceful sunset.
Guess I put my comment in the wrong comment box. This sunset card really caught my as, as did the orange pear... But my question is how did you create the" easy sunset?" Please do tell or show some pictures. thanks
Thank you so much Sandy! The sunset was done with masking and layering colors applied with sponge daubers. Amanda Corbet has done a wonderful video tutorial at http://www.kraftingkreations.blogspot.com/2012/04/winter-trees-card.html She does a terrific job explaining this technique. :)
Love the sunset. What a clever use of this weeks colors. So glad you joined us this week at the ColourQ.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, Aimee, love your brayered scene! Thanks for joining us this week at the ColourQ and sharing your card.
